Kathleen and Robert Leonard and their partner, Katie Kearney work as a team representing buyers and sellers of exceptional properties in the California Wine Country north of the Golden Gate Bridge.  This is where they live, entertain friends and help their clients achieve their real estate dreams in this beautiful area.  It's all about living the good life!

It wasn't about a job in real estate that enticed Kathy & Bob away from their former careers in food and advertising.  It was the possibility of combining their passions for living a great lifestyle, enjoying fabulous properties and offering generous hospitality.  Sonoma’s wine country naturally encourages these activities.    After just two years in the business, they were ranked among the top 7% of their peers internationally at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.  They were recruited to Sotheby’s Wine Country brokerage and in 2009 were asked to join the opening team of Alain Pinel Realtors’ Sonoma office.  They remain in the top tier of agents in Sonoma Valley.

Kathleen – A graduate of University of California at Davis, she grew upon Northern California where she learned to ride horses and ski at a young age.  A past president of the San Francisco Professional Food Society and board member of other leading food and wine organizations, she worked and socialized with such food luminaries as Julia Child, Robert Mondavi and leading chefs and winemakers from around the world.  She bought, fixed and sold homes and buildings for over 20 years prior to becoming a Realtor®.  Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center and Junior League of Napa-Sonoma are two boards on which Kathleen has served. Kathleen is a member of Impact 100 Sonoma as well as Sonoma Chamber of Commerce and Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau.

Katie – Born and raised in the Cow Hollow area of San Francisco, Katie spent much of her adult life living abroad with her Marine Corps husband of 32 years and their two sons.  Germany, Japan and Hawaii were just a few of the many places the Kearney’s called home.  Settling back in their beloved Bay Area, Katie knew she wanted to assist others in buying, selling and moving.  After all, who is better suited to help a family relocate than one who has done just that 22 times?

Bob – A former Vice President with the J. Walter Thompson company, he spent 25 years as an executive for top “Madison Avenue” advertising agencies managing such accounts as Mercedes-Benz, the Ford Motor Company, Boeing and Gulfstream.  While serving in the armed forces, he achieved the rank of Captain in the Marines. He has an MA degree from Pepperdine University and a BA Degree from Morehead State University.   An active volunteer in many service organizations, Bob and his team of volunteers coordinate the Wine Country Marine Corps Birthday Ball and the Sonoma Valley Joint Memorial Day Observance.  Bob is also a group Chairman for Vistage International, the world’s leading CEO Membership Organization.  For more information, visit: www.RobertLeonard.com
